Plug the machine back into the wall outlet. Put the paper tray firmly back in the printer. Put the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back in the printer. If you put the cartridge in properly, the green lock lever will lift automatically. Put the toner cartridge back into the drum unit until you hear it lock into place. Remove the jammed paper if there is any inside the drum unit. Push down the green lock lever and take the toner cartridge out of the drum unit. Wait for the printer to cool down before you touch the internal parts of the printer. NOTE: After you have just used the printer, some internal parts of the printer will be extremely hot. You will need to reopen the front cover to gain access to the drum area. If you are not able to remove it from the rear, try to remove it from the drum area from the front of the machine. Pull any found paper out of the fuser unit using both hands. Pull the black ribbed tabs toward you on the left and right side to open the fuser cover. Pull any found paper down and out of the printer. Pull the paper tray completely out of the printer.į.

NOTE: Always remove all paper from the paper tray and straighten the stack when you add new paper. If the printer still does not start printing, check that all the remaining jammed paper has been removed from the printer. If the printer does not start printing automatically, press the GO button. If the jammed paper is removed completely after following the steps below, the printer will resume printing automatically.
